AEV Flat Tow Recovery Points | EX/RX Front Bumper | JL Wrangler & JT Gladiator

Flat tow your Jeep without giving up a true recovery point. The AEV Flat Tow Recovery Points let JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator owners running an AEV EX or RX Front Bumper connect a compatible tow bar directly to the bumper, with no custom fabrication, drilling or loss of off-road recovery capability.

They replace the standard EX/RX recovery points and move the attachment point farther outward for the clearance and articulation flat towing behind an RV or motorhome needs. Unhook the tow bar at camp and hit the trail with fully functional recovery points still in place.

Retrofit Your Existing AEV Bumper

Already running an EX or RX Front Bumper? They bolt into the original recovery point locations using the existing mounting. No cutting, drilling or extra hardware.

Tow-Bar Clearance

Approach angle changes from roughly 58.7° with the standard recovery points to 54.13° with the Flat Tow Recovery Points. Ground clearance is unchanged.

Designed for tow-bar adapters with a 1" inner width and 7/8" attachment pin, including:
